Abstract
Esta obra se dirige a profesores, estudiantes y también a toda persona que se interese en los fenómenos sociales en Latinoamérica. Es rica particularmente en documentos originales como mapas, fotografías, artículos de prensa, gráficas, pinturas y grabados de época; que alternan sobre varios temas que intentan mostrar la diversidad americana.
Para mayor facilidad pedagógica se ha organizado el libro en tres grandes secciones: historia, geografía y ciencias económicas y sociales. Cada dossier comienza con una presentación problematizada, tratada a partir de cinco documentos minuciosamente analizados que se acompañan de una bibliografía corta.
In all cases, authors will retain the moral rights established by law and they will yield the right of first publication of their article to the journal. The work is to be registered under the Creative Commons license, which will allow the author or other parties to use what has been published, provided the authorship of the work and the first publication conducted by the magazine are rightfully cited. Similarly, authors should include a link referring to the site of the original publication.
