Abstract
La mitad oriental del estado de Sonora está ocupada por la vertiente oeste de la Sierra Madre Occidental y profundamente entrecortada por una serie de cañones. La mitad occidental es plana, desértica, con algunas montañas que rara vez tienen más de 1 000 m de altura. En el extremo noroeste se encuentra la región más seca de México el desierto de Altar y la sierra Pinacate; abundan en ella las reliquias arqueológicas.In all cases, authors will retain the moral rights established by law and they will yield the right of first publication of their article to the journal.
